Get The Tread Out: The Watauga Edition

untitled-2

Two weekends ago, a pretty kickass crew of people met up on the Watauga River and spent the day pulling tires and other trash out of the river. Rand was on hand to take some photos while he helped Dave pick up the tires that we dropped off at the end of each stretch. Our little floatilla on the Trophy Stretch pulled out over 200 tires. That’s not a typ0 – more than 200 tires out of the Trophy Stretch alone. We don’t have a final count on the entire river, but it was surely in the 400-500 range.

Enjoy the pictures, and consider coming along next time.
