The flies are boxed, the beer is gone, and the BBQ is nothing more than a pleasant memory punctuated by a porky burp now and then. The 1st Annual Tie-One-On-A-Thon has come to pass, and it was more fun than anyone should have tying 700 flies. There will be a nice article about the event in the upcoming Spring Issue, but I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who tied, sponsored, and showed up to make this unique event a success in its very first year. We are still working out the final numbers but WNC Project Healing Waters should be getting a better check than I have gotten in the past few months. So for those folks who, for whatever reason, couldn’t make it this year, we put together a slide show that should give you a clearer picture into the Tie-One-On-A-Thon madness you missed… don’t let it happen again, because we will be back bigger and better next year.
